Oseyo serves authentic home-style Korean food and craft cocktails in their beautiful dining area. One street over, you can stop at Kemuri Tatsu-Ya for Japanese Ramen with a fusion of Texan influences. This excellent dining spot serves unique fusion dishes, artistically blending Japanese flavors with Austin’s favorite barbeque meals. On East Fifth Street and East Sixth Street, you will discover many more excellent food trucks, breweries, and restaurants presenting a mixture of casual and fine dining. Suerte is one the local favorites for contemporary Mexican dining, with incredible in-house drinks and farm-fresh organic ingredients. Hotspots like the Pershing host live music events in stylish and unique settings while maintaining the vibrant Austin atmosphere. What was once a lumber shed, Pershing now plays host to live concerts, fashion shows, art shows, retreats, and benefits in their chic 1940s-style, three-story lounge featuring an outdoor courtyard complete with bistro tables and hammocks. Fair Market is another trendy meeting place in town.
